When I was a believer, I was constantly being told that God (Jesus) always had to either constantly test us or that he was needing to make our lives a struggle in order for us to build strength, etc.
It’s TOTAL BS.
And what exactly was Jesus doing for that poor guy in the wheelchair in the pouring rain?!?!
How was he being served or helped by Jesus??
