It never occurred to me during my 40 years as a Christian that this idea that God won’t help you unless you believe in him is so terribly and honestly gross.
Imagine being the creator of the universe and only helping humans who worship you and believe in you when you have the power to help them, regardless of faith.
It’s selfish and arrogant and not the characteristic of an all perfect, all loving being who allegedly created us out of love and adoration.
